I wonder if any of you are planning on attending the Roadmaster Chassis Rally in Eugene Oregon later this summer? It is July 31 - Aug 2 and is sponsored by Source Engineering, Inc. Cummins NW, Roadmaster Towbars, Pacific Power Products and Guaranty RV will be bringing some new coaches along to look at.

The interesting thing for me is the full day of chassis technical sessions including Q&A access to experts - a good opportunity for me to learn more about my coach. Some service may be available, I am hoping to get a Ride Enhancement Kit installed.

I am not a golfer so the two days of included golf is of little interest to me, but the parties sound good .

Here is a link to an info sheet / signup form: http://www.rv-chassis.com/rally2.pdf

I look forward to meeting some of you there!

Jim

I would like to remind folks of how helpful Source Engineering has been in getting many of the Monaco 4-Bag Chassis Owners back on the road safely. I would also recommend that any of your 4-bag Roadmaster Chassis Owners attend this seminar if it is possible!!
Jim...I also want to apologize to you for not letting you know that they dropped me as an Admin from the forum. It was an overlook on my part to not let you know...but I have not reading/answering my PMs for some time.

Would like to go as I'm sure it will be a great rally to learn more about my chassis, but 6k roundtrip is just too far.

I'd like to give Source Engineering as their registration form indicates all proceeds will be donated to Wounded Warrior Project!

I have done a bit more research on Source One's Roadmaster Chassis Rally. Here is what I have found....It looks like Jim and Scott has been working on a Ride Enhancement kit for the popular RR8R chassis that is found on many Monaco Brands...including the Diplomat/Endeavor models.

You can find their email addresses located at their home page here if you have more questions that you would like to have answered.

I think I will see if I can get the time off so SacsTC and I can make it to this one! It will be great to get back to Eugene for a visit. I can also give folks ideas of other things to do if you aren't into Golfing. There are many great wineries in the area (you can see some photos here )- along with many Covered Bridges. I have a PDF file of the bridges somewhere if some are interested in it...found it... (PDF MAP)

I can't forget the Mt Pisgah area either...it is such a pretty area. ...ahhh- Now I can't wait to go!!!

Who else might I see there?

I am so excited! I just got off the phone with Jim from Source Engineering. I had not paid much attention to the timing of this Roadmaster Chassis Rally - but he could not have picked a better time.
I looked at the "Rally Schedule" and was a bit surprised! Did any of you realize that the day you finish at the Rally here that you can drive to the Monaco International "Fabulous 50’s Monaco Pre Rally" to keep the rally spirit going? (Sign-Up PDF Here)

I did find out that Jim, Scott and the other folks who are putting on some of the other seminar classes will be around so you can actually have a bit of "One on One" question and answer sessions with them. (That means that the folks who may want to golf can still golf and not miss out on some of the "technical" stuff )

It also sounds like Source has been working hard to help us Monaco Owners out with many of our handling problems - they now have a few other things working that will benefit us all...so I suggest you sign up and hear the news firsthand at the "First Annual Roadmaster Chassis Rally"!!

By the way, Jim...Please tell me that what you have will help the "California coach owners" not get beat up on the California highways.

We are looking forward to seeing many of you soon

We'll be in Grants Pass that weekend. Maybe we can talk the other couple into going for a day.

I did talk to Jim again...and don't worry about the "deadline" date right now...just call him and let him know you may come...just so he knows you might be coming. You should make up your mind quickly though... ;-)

I had someone ask me what they might expect if they attend this rally. Well I think you will find a lot more "one on one" attention PLUS they will be able to talk a bit more about the new "Ride Enhancement" for the 8-bag chassis. (This will include the Custom tuned shocks!)
I bet they will even go out for a ride in your coach to determine what you might need.

Don't forget to sign up soon - Source needs to know how to plan accordingly!

They need at least 15 coaches for this rally to happen -- I think only 5 or 6 have committed -- Maybe start a list, MM? Billy Paul Willard
