Roadmaster raised rail rr4r chassis

how to improve ride? 09 safari cascade 35' correct tire pressure. would shocks or larger stablizer bars help? Thanks

I'd start with tire pressure. You will need to weigh the coach then using the tire manufactures chart (available on-line), set the correct pressure. You can use the pressures listed on the placard behind the drivers seat, but that's probably going to be too high, which would give you a harder/harsher ride.

Have you checked the rear trailing arms for damage or cracks? Though later than the recall years, supposedly some Safaris as late as 2009 had the same trailing arms that were recalled on earlier vintages with r4r and rr4r chassis.

ride improvment

Check with Source Engineering 541-343-0293.They have a ride enhancement kit that may help improve your ride.

Blue boy, as Bob mentioned I've been down the road with my Neptune on the rr4r chassis. I started a thread a few years ago on rr4r chassis upgrades. It's worth a read if you have a rr4r chassis. I'd be glad to talk with you if you'd rather go that route. My coach rides and drives really well after all I've done.
