Does anyone know where I could get a replacement rocker switch for my 1997 Monaco dynasty. I believe 1998 an 1999 are also the same, although I am not positively sure. Who or what company manufactured them at the time. I am looking to add one or two illuminated rocker switches into the dashboard and I wanted them to be the same as the original ones.

You could start here: http://www.sigmaswitches.com/
This is where I get most of my switches.

I am currently trying to source switches for my 05 Dynasty and I believe they are the same as what I had in my 99 Dynasty.
The 05 has switches manufactured by Carling. CarlingTech.com. But they will not sell directly.
The dash in my 05 was assembled for Monaco by Sterling, SterlingTech.org. When I contacted them their response was "We are under contract with Monaco that we cannot sell currently active parts to Monaco customers and must instead direct them to Monaco Service."
Carling did tell me that Custom Marine, 843-651-9100, would sell small quantities of switches. The problem you will have is determining a Carling Part number which does not correpond with any part numbers used by Monaco. there are not part numbers on the Carling switches in my Dynasty.
I have a switch coming from Monaco, current pricing, $52.99! At that price the led's should never burn out.

Andy M....Can you post a photo of what your switches look like. The Monaco dealer near my house sells all the rocker switches and the the covers for them with the various symbols.
After I bought my coach, I changed out all of the switch covers to the newer version (06 -up) because the symbols and writing was much larger on them. I found getting them from the local dealer was cheaper than getting them from Monaco.

Don where is this dealer? Changing the covers sounds like a good idea.

The dealer for the covers is Simi RV in Simi Valley. They have a large tacklebox type container under the counter with all of the covers. They're about $5.00 each. The newer covers are fatter in the center and shaped like () rather than [] like your old ones. In the area where you have several that are very close to each other, I had to slightly trim the edges with a razor right at the center of the switch. They also sell a red one for the exhaust brake. It makes it easier to spot.

Thanks Don. Here is what I am looking to do:
My coach (1997) and i'm sure many other Monaco coaches are wired so that the DHS amplifier and the radio always have power even when the coach is turned off (with exception of the 12v switch cut off in off mode). By putting in an extra switch in the dashboard, it allows me to actually turn power off to the amp and radio when i'm not using the tv or radio, just the same as the ignition key switch function is in a car or truck. By doing this I can extend the life of these components. I have already been through an amp and others that I know have been through them as well. In some newer coaches there is actually a switch on the dash that says radio which makes sense as far as how it really should be wired.
I'm not looking to change all the switches, just looking to add a switch that looks the same (appearance). I currently have a metal toggle in the center of a blank right now doing the function as described and it works perfect. Now I want it to cosmetically look as if it belongs as well. I will accept an illuminated toggle or even a non illuminated toggle. The remaining factory toggles have either a picture of a headlight, fan ect...
I'm sure they must have produced these without a picture or just a lens in the upper portion, or even blank.

Andy M....I saved all of my older style switch covers when I changed mine out. If we're talking about the same type of rocker switches at various points on the dash, I'm sure the switches are generic Monaco, but the covers changed. That's why I was asking if you could post a photo. I have 20 or so of the older covers with different symbols including one that says radio. I'm willing to depart with one or two if they're what you're looking for.
If you have difficulty like me posting photos, send me a PM and I'll give you my email address. You can send me a photo that way.

This I believe is the newer style:
and this below is the style I need. It looks fairly close to what I have.
<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content">older covers with different symbols including one that says radio. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
I would be very interested in the one that says radio, if it somewhat appears the same.

Call Joe at Northwest RV Suppply
You can send him the same photo and he will probably have the one that you are looking for. It will probably even say "Radio" on it.

Here is a Radio switch for Monaco coaches on eBay.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...9QQitemZ290243452288
If link does not work, go to ebay and enter item number 290243452288 in the search box and it should come up. Price is $4.50 plus shipping of $5.55. I have purchased switches from this guy and he is very good to deal with.
