Camped in Oceanside "Paradise by the Sea" campground two weeks ago, hooked up to 50 amp and was running all 3 roof a/c's (hot/humid). Went to shut down a/c's with comfort control panel.....zone 1 and 2 shut down.....zone 3 did not (hummed).....tried again nothing. Move comfort control switch to OFF still no shut off to zone 3. Went to electrical panel and shut off 20 amp breaker to rear air and unit shut down. Next morning turned on 20 amp breaker and rear air started to hum....comfort control still off. Took coach to Temecula RV to have units checked out....of course it all worked perfectly for service writer and tech......they serviced all three units and found nothing wrong ....except amp reading on rear air was 13 and fronts at 18. Anyone have this happen??? if so what was cause and solution.

It sounds like the comfort control may be defective or what ever the comfort control activates in the A/C unit to shut it down, like a sticking relay.

I had intermittent problems with one of my zones. After spending a couple of weeks troubleshooting it with the help of this forum, I decided to take it in for repair. It was a loose connector on the telephone looking wire that ran from the comfort control panel. The charge was $96 for labor and $2.18 for the part. So, you might want un-clip your connector and verify that isn't the issue.

If you find it is the connector, go to Radio Shack and purchase the parts and tool to crimp on a new one.. just make sure you put the same color wires in the same order in the connector.
