Hi RVers, My Generator powers the coach including the Microwave, and the wall Thermostat. But the roof Airs wont come on. Not even the fans make a peep! I checked the 110 breakers and cycled them all to be sure. Is there a reset anywhere for that? I tried all with and without the Inverter on. Help!! allegro5 greatallegro5@aol.com, Also, I would like the Ride Hight measurments and from what to what, for a 1996 Dynasty Many thanks

alegro5, do you have an Energy Management System? If so, it might be keeping the A/C's from running.
Also, the A/C's require 12V as well as 120V to run them and there should be an appropriately labeled fuse to check.

Does your thermostat have zones? On our coach, 04 HR Imperial, if any zone is not off or set to anything but a/c the a/c will not start. I got fooled that way when the wife decided she needed heat in the potty room. I tried to start the a/c later that day and...............nothing!! When I set the potty room to off they started.

Turn off both thermostats, take the covers off and disconnect the phone cable from each.
Wait 5 minutes, plug the cables back in, then turn on each thermostat. You may wait 3 to 4 minutes before the A?C units start back up.

To Drifter> I will re check today, as I dont think the Micro was comming on without the Inverter and with just the Generator! Nice tip! Did you have to replace the Transfer Switch? If so, where do you get one, and how much? I printed out the picture and the explanation! Many thanks, you are just what we all need! allegro5 greatallegro5@aol.com

Walt, You are always nice to try to help people! Thanks! But yes, I pushed the breakers and to be sure pulled them! My Battery Isolater had a big burn spot next to the rightside post. Heavens knows what died with that! I replaced iy with a 200 amp Hersee Cole! So many frustrating electrical issues with this old 96 Dyn!

One suggestion I make to many rvers is this;
I have found many RVers have a few screws loose (You knew that right.. Well, Wrong)
NO, not those screws,, The kind you tighten with a screwdriver, often a #2 square bit.
When I first got my rig, brand new, Took the sticker out of the window and very quickly the A/C's started acting wonkey.. Sometimes the front one would work Some times the rear.. Generator or shore power seemed to make little difference.
Finally (Well actually it was the 1st thing I checked) I pulled the cover off the breaker box and re-tightened every screw in the box.. some of them 1-2 turns or more.
Have not had an A/C problem since.
NOTE: Kill generator and UNPLUG first.

I agree with Luv2go, check your EMS service panel as I remember there is a 3 amp DC fuse on the control module that feeds the circuit control relays, you might want to check those also.
