Camping World or an RV dealer not WW.. Get the self leveling sealant in a calking tube, the tape, I think, is eternabond.. The tape should not be coming up, must not of been clean when it was put down.. I would use alcohol to clean where the tape is going to be put..

The tape is Eternabond and they recommend a small bead of caulk on the leading (windward) side of the tape to prevent it from lifting. A few years ago I noticed the tape lifting and sealed the edge with it with 3M 5200 fast cure caulk. It has held and the spots that had not lifted are still secure. Eternabond also says you can use a heat gun to reattach the edges. It kinda worked but ended up using a few bricks with wax paper between the bricks and sealant to keep the bricks from bonding to the roof.

Well if it was Eternabond, it would not be peeling. Monaco changed to a less expensive tape and yes, it does peel. Don't remember the name of it but you sure don't want to use it.
Remove the bad tape and clean the area thoroughly. Apply real Eternabond and seal the edges with self leveling caulk and it should last as long as your coach. Go to the Eternabond site for instructions on cleaning the area before applying the tape.

Use a wall paper roller to apply pressure to the tape after you put it down. Take great care to cut the length you need and in application as once it sticks, well you don't want to have to take it off. The stuff really stick.

I agree. It is probably not Eternabond if its peeling, unless someone did a really poor job of applying it. I couldn't find an Rv dealer in my area that had Eternabond, but their website will let you find a local dealer which will probably be a roofing material co. I don't know if I got ripped, or a deal, but a 4" wide roll was about $60. It was the best money I ever spent.

I would agree if you plan to keep the coach...replace the junk Monoco used for tape. Had the same problem with my 06 Eandeavor within a year and then I needed some roof repairs and dealer replaced the tape with tape they ordered from Monoco and that did not last very long either. Spend a litter to protect a lot.
only my two cents worth

Most camping worlds don't carry eternabond tape, they carry another brand. If you need the tape, you may have to either orter off of the enternet or find a dealer that has it. I can tell you that Thomas RV, in Springfield, Mo. carries the eternabond and sells it by the foot or the roll. You can look them up on the enternet.
