I have noticed a hinge on the bottom of these (inside MH) and was wondering how to open them to change the filter material? What type of filter material do you guys use?

There is a latch like you have on your drawers on the opposite side from the hinge. Both of mine open on the front side.

I just pull down on the frame to access the filter....I have added a regular furnace filter to help with cutting down on the dust.
