I've never put anything on my 2004 Monaco fiberglass roof. I wash it with Dawn dish soap about three times a year.

For years I did nothing except washing/cleaning, but I was tired of streaks on the side, so this year for the first time, I tried some ZEP... will see the result in the following months.

I use Mop & Glo once a year. Applied with a sponge mop. It works well. Makes it easy to hose the dirt off. I did it again yesterday.

I use the Meguiar’s RV Marine one step cleaner wax (#50). The first time I did it, I used the Meguiar’s one step compound (#67) to remove the heavy oxidation. Before that I would get streaks down the side that were so bad, it looked like someone poured milk down the side of my coach. Problem solved! 👍

Most of the wax products do not hold up well in the sun. Many of us use Rust-Oleum Marine Topside deck paint (2-coats). It stopped all the white chalk washing down the sides and the roof looks great.

x2 what Vito said. One of the better fixes I've done to the coach (and an easy one to boot!).
Several coaches ago, I'd tried the wax idea to stop the streaks. Almost flew off the roof when I stepped into an AC-drain puddle when working on the bat-wing antenna.

Do you guys have an actual fiberglass roof or is it like my Monaco 5er, a TPO roof?
I just wash it 2 or 3 times a year. I get the streaking from the drip rail ends but it appears to basically be the dust and grime that eventually washes down. I plan on getting drip rail extensions this year.

I use fantastic spray and water to wash. Then apply 303. No streaks.

Huh, can't remember seeing that, thanks. I initially thought my roof was fiberglass until I fixed some stuff and also drilled a hole for the solar installation. I "think" my TPO is laid over plywood but not sure. I wonder if your fiberglass roof is a thick shell or laid over plywood as well.

I don't know whats under it but it is pretty sturdy. I'm up there several times a year.

I painted our's with Dicor Fiberglass RV Roof Coating in late 2015 to help protect the fiberglass surface. That product has held up well. I also apply Mop-and-Glow once or twice a year which helps to reduce streaking from dirt running off with rain or AC drips.
