I am planning to replace the shocks on my 2003 Diplomat 40PWD. I am looking at the Bilstein Comfort shocks. Trying to find the right part number is confusing. They seem to have shocks that fit the RR8S but don't list anything for the RR8R. My shocks have the lower eye mount and upper post mount. Both frontand rear look the same.

Is the 03 Diplomat an RR8R or RR8S?

I feel realy dumb now. Obviously, it is an RR8R as it has the rear radiator. In that case, it appears that Bilstein does not make a shock that fits it.

The 'r' is for rear radiator and the 's' is for side. Can't see why shocks would be different, but then again you never know with Monaco

I recently ordered and replaced the shocks on our 04 HR Imperial RR8S chassis MH.
I used these sites to find the right p/n for the shocks for my MH.
Bilstein Shocks at AllShocks.com - Home
Bilstein - KYB - Rancho - Monroe - Edelbrock Automotive Truck Shocks and Struts - Shockwarehouse.com

Richard Pretty sure it will be the BE5-B402-HO comfort shock
