Can anyone help me with the size of a jack and jack stands I need to raise my 40' Camelot. Also, is there a source with reasonable prices. Thanks in advance.

Personally although I do buy some harbor freight items I do not wish to go under my MH with a cheap Chinese jack and stand. The harbor freight stands are rated for a pair. The better ones are each. A 40 ft. DP is a heavy vehicle. I would recommend Stinger jack stands. They are off shore but meet an ANSI standard and each jack stand will hold 12 tons. Sold by OTC a huge tool company that has be around since the Model T days. They make oem specialty tools for the big 3. My jacks are older so they are made in USA. There are better quality jacks than those that are sold at Harbor Freight. Get a 12 ton.
I like "made in America" 6x6's sawed to the appropriate length, and stacked chimney style, because I have a gravel driveway and lot. I use Summit Racing 40,000 lb professional jacks on a 1.5 inch plywood base (2) and they stay under there with the blocks.
