RVA Jack system

Good morning all.
My RVA jack system not working. Model J-II. I have 12v to the pump. It will run if I jump across. I do not have 12v to the small terminal on solenoid. Brown wire. Where to look next? Green light comes on T panel. I can hear a clicking noise at pump when toggling one of the jack switches.
Where is the controller? In the arm rest?
I cannot find the 6 volt fuse noted in literature.

Any help where to look and trouble shoot is greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

Jim

Check with Brazel's they bought out the remaining inventory when RVA closed after the owners death last year, and are in the process of setting up support parts, etc. for these jack systems.

My RVA controller is in the front Electric-Run Bay (RVA Level sensor on ceiling of Run Bay). This is what it looks like.
Also attaching wiring diagrams and troubleshooting info.
Good Luck. Let us know what you find wrong.

Jim,
Usually the controller is in the arm rest. The lead wires to the controller are not generally that long so it would not be far from the switch panel. Once you find the controller, follow the brown wire that does not go into a plug. If you follow that wire it goes to the shift interlock relay. Once you find the relay then you can test to see what the issue is.
The connections to the relay are as follows...
- 85 Push pull button on the parking brake pressure switch. Grounded when button is pulled.
- 86 Ignition switch power.
- 30 Signal Wire from relay to Pump Solenoid
- 87 Signal Wire to relay from controller

If you have all the proper signals then you have a failed relay. However the most common thing we see is a failed pressure switch off the push pull button.

I agree with Alan. I don't know any specifics about your system, but I do know that our coach has an interlock that will not allow the jacks to go down if the park brake is not set, AND if the transmission is not in neutral, or park.

On our coach, those interlocks are in the control power to the pump solenoid. The pump motor still has power, as does yours, but the solenoid will keep it from operating if the interlocks aren't satisfied.

Alan gave you some very good detail to follow up on. Good luck!

Thank you all. As I was holding the relay, trying to use multimeter, it started working. Worked on and off. Not sure about this.
I live in Northwest Washington so think I try and get in to Brazels when I head South end of next week. Not trusting myself now
Again,
Thank you all
