I definitely will look at the executive, I haven't found many around.
If I do decide to look at dynasty, I will definitely consider the 450. That should be better than anything running the 400. Any others with a 450?
Thanks again moira

I don't think i could add another variable into this decision. I don't know anything about that but I am certain I can find an assembly line coach. I want to keep this as simple as i can and thats not easy.

thank you

Maybe and maybe not. Our ISX 650 gets as good a mileage as our much lighter ISC at 7.6 showing on the VMS.

That and it's on it's third turbo too.
Cummins admits a poor design and has new heads and valves to "fix" them but isn't standing behind them like they did with the ISL wrist pin problems.

I'm running an ISB 340 HP, but the plastic stick at the rear of the coach says 650 HP Cummins. That was my least expensive mod given to me by a Cummins Rep. FREE. Sanford PS some people think I could go faster, but that I choose not too.

God luck!

I'm sorry, I just can't understand this concept and how this works for the customer. I've had test drives at dealerships; at RV shows and with friends. A guy contacted me on one of these forums and asked me to inspect and test drive an '08 Dynasty for him since he was over 2,000 miles away. I was at a rally 2 weeks ago when the president of a major manufacturer showed up with the first production model of a $600,000 coach. He invited anyone who was interested to test drive it the next day. None of these instances involved a deposit or a sales contract.

Totally unbelievable.

Most of the Beaver Patriot's and the Marquis had the C-13 thru C-15 Cats installed, these engines are no longer supported by Catipillar or anyone else for that matter. Buyer beware

Davidpp are yo sure about your statement about CAT no longer supporting the C13 and C15 engines. CAT stopped making engines for trucks and motorhomes but stated they would still support them. These engines are in a lot of trucks and off road heavy equipment.

Nothing really! When you said they wouldn't let you test drive it, that came to mind. Overall, it is a good outfit - I like their not so much haggle prices. You can bargain a little, but their prices are pretty close to what they would sell it for that goes for new, used, or consigned.

I am a little concerned about buying a rv on consignment as our first rv. From what I understand it is, as is. No rv school, no detail, no checking anything. They hand you the keys and off you go.

How much does a pre-inspection cost? And should I allow them to refer me to their guy they use?

thanks moira
