Safari Class A info?

Still looking and kicking tires. I found a 2008 Safari Passage w/10,000 miles. Ford V-10/Ford Chassis. Can't seem to find much info on these. Information/opinions welcomed.

We have a 2008 Safari Passage 30 ft., Ford v10. Though Safari is no longer made our unit sure looks like the Monaco Riptide - pretty much identical.

Power is pretty good but have not done the toad thing yet. Mileage 7 to 8 mpg.

Unit is in general very stable at highway speeds but doesn't seem to like buffeting crosswinds any more than I do.

The unit is entry level, the dash is pretty sparse, the windshield is 2 piece, awning is manual, no leveling, single slide, etc.

The interior equipment level is pretty much standard motor home. I have had to fix several minor quality issues myself, some caused by the people that serviced the motor home. Some minor coach issues fixed under warranty but nothing major.

I have switched to 4 6v batteries, added a solar panel, and a few other minor upgrades.

So far I'm pleased with it but don't get to use it much. Winter in Canada lasts forever.
