Sagging Ceiling - 2008 Camelot

My ceiling is starting to sag near the slide outs and near the middle of the coach. The ceiling is padded vinyl wrapped over plywood with insulation between the ceiling and the roof of the coach. When I push the vinyl wrapped plywood up at the joints, I can feel and hear what seems to be “catch” channel that may hold the ceiling at the joints, but it does not hold where it is sagging. Does anybody have a picture, diagram, or description of how the ceiling is attached to the roof? Have any of you had the same problem and fashioned a fix?
Thanks in advance for the help.
Mike G.

The panels are just vinyl glued to a dense styrofoam - That is then glued to the ceiling, which is thin plywood/luan -- You will probably have to remove that panel & see where it has come loose -- The vinyl panel will be destroyed when it is scrapped off the ceiling, & will make a big mess from styrofoam residue -- This can be done without removing the wood trim around the ceiling -- There is a glue made for use on styrofoam, & that will have to be what is used -- The trim that goes where the panels join, just snaps into a channel -- Don`t have a source for the panels, but Monaco would have them -- They shouldn`t cost that much, since they`re only vinyl & styrofoam -- Bill Willard

Had the ceiling material come loose and sag dramatically in a Winnebago we owned years back. Took it to an upholstery guy. The ceiling was white. He went to Lowes and purchased white paneling trim. Then pulled the fabric tight at the lateral seams, and stapled it. Then covered the staples with the white trim. Looked pretty good, and was very inexpensive. A few places had some bulges of material at the cabinets. The next year when the bedroom glue let go, I fixed it myself.

Thanks for the response Bill.
I'm having the problem with the trim that wants to snap into the channel. I push it up and into the channel, but it doesn't hold. Any ideas on how to access it and maybe crimp the channel a bit so the trim will stay?
Best,
Mike

Mikey -- Haven`t seen that problem, but as you suggested, try crimping the channel a bit -- Keep us informed -- Bill Willard

We'll do Bill.
Just as soon as I can figure out how to get to it without ruining the ceiling panel.
