San Diego

Hi, I'm looking for an RV campground in San Diego for a quick one night stay next weekend on the 13th. Would like to be on the beach somewhere.

I tried Campland on Mission Bay but they don't accept Saturday arrivals.

Any suggestions?

Thank you

Brian

Check out Chula Vista RV Park & Resort in San Diego, CA | RV Camping, I haven't stayed there but I previously checked it out for our next trip to SD. If you do end up there please post a review.

Chula Vista is very nice. There is no beach, but nice sidewalks to walk to restaurants. It's our preferred place when in the San Diego area.

If Chula Vista doesn't work out San Diego County has some pretty nice parks but not on the beach. We have stayed at Sweetwater and it is pretty nice for an overnighter or longer stay but not many amenities.

We stayed at Mission Bay Rv Resort, next to the Golf course and on the water last year. Loved it; so close for beach walks and bike riding. Give them a try. They are slightly south of Campland, and much nicer. The park is owned by the city, I believe .

If you have military privileges, Fiddler Cove at NASNI has just been renovated and is as nice as you'd find anywhere and it's on the water

Thank you for all the responses! I reserved a spot at Mission Bay RV resort in about 2 minutes. I had been trying for a few hours to find a spot with no success.

I'll let you know how it was next week.

Thanks again
