Sani-con 5800

Has anyone tried to convert the Sani-con 5800 with 3" hose to the bayonet model? If so can you post a picture and provide parts required. Trying to eliminate hose and connect direct to sewer pipe at gates.

Thanks for help.

Back in 2010 there was a guy in Kentucky servicing the SaniCons. He had all the parts for them and had a nice website. But, as this was not his full time job and sales slowed down, he quit the SaniCon business.

I had purchased some parts from him and asked if he had an adapter to convert my SaniCon to a portable unit. He said no. Next day he called back to tell me he made me one by slowly heating a bayonet adapter to fit over the 3" hose end of the SaniCon.

Maybe you could do the same thing if you are handy.

Here's a picture of it all assembled. Finding no use for the gray water bypass now that it is a portable unit, I opted to eliminate it by plugging the hole on the white piece.

I installed the gray quick connectors to make using it simple, which can be found on Amazon, and for cheaper on AliExpress.
