Hi everyone, I have a 2007 Holiday Rambler Neptune 36PDQ and per the operators manual it states that the location for Sat install is marked on the roof, well my unit was purchased June 2009 and was on the dealer lot and I think the mark or marks have been weather off. So My question does anyone know the location of where to put the Sat on the roof?

toolman06......You should have a series of flourescent ceiling lights in your roof. Remove the first light behind the cockpit. You can usually find the stubbed off wires there. Unless they've changed, Monaco only installed one coax cable and a 12 volt lead. That will work for a dome type sat, but not any of the newer HD sats.

If you intend to go HD, your best bet is to install the sat and run the cables on the roof and drop into the front cap.

You could use a metal detector to find them.. One thing.. on my coach they said there was a sticker.. There was no sticker.. What there was was a "Stink Pipe" (Tank vent) that made no sense.. It was in the middle instead of off to one side.. The installer removed the screw, removed the top, and there were the wires.
