Satellite up alarm

When traveling from the balloon fiesta in NM to Ga. we spent about a week in rain and drizzle. After a good soaking in Arkansas one night our roof mount Dish satellite alarm light came on. I've checked everything on the roof and found nothing amiss. Must be a sensor some where. Suggestions welcome. We will be at Alliance in Fl. next week but I hate to pay for some thing I can fix myself.

Satellite up alarm

2010 Monaco Diplomat 42 SKQ On my previous post I forgot to add what MH, Sorry." Satellite up" red light came on after a lot of rain and has not gone off yet. Everything on the Dish roof top unit seems ok. Where do I start to trouble shoot?

Our older unit has a switch mounted behind the dish with wires running to it. Assume it works like one of the older home a/c thermostats with a mercury switch. As rain may be the cause for a short, why not crank up the antenna for a couple of days at a dry destination and see if that helps..

You also might try unplugging the dish controller for about 30 seconds and then plug it back in. This may reset it.
