I've read several blogs that state that obtaining non-expired and/or reliable SCA test strips is a hit-&-miss proposition. What is your experience?
Where do you buy yours? And for Fleetguard's own product, do I want the "single pack" (CC2602B)?....or some other product number?
I don't want to choose a wrong stock/product number and thus be the proud owner of 200 expired test strips!!

NAPA has them, Part# FIL 4105. They might try and sell you s box of them for 27.49 or you can try a Cat dealer.

Cat only sells them in large quantitities. If you go to any Kenworth or Cummins dealer they sell individual strips. Make sure the date is current and use it soon. They age quickly.

Go to Cummins & buy singles. They had a problem with defective packaging for a period of time but they seem to have solved their issue & the current ones are good. If you had any of the bad ones, the packaging had a paper feel with a foil interior. The new ones have a plastic feel to the package. They have a shelf life of just a few months so just buy a couple at a time. They will have an expiration date on the package.

Chuck,
By fluid I assume you meant the SCA additive. Yes, they sell it by the bottle, I think 16oz. I added two bottles to my system a few months ago and purchased both the strips and the additive at my local Cummins service center. They also sell Fleetguard filters and parts for the Onan generator.

Chuck:
Your "NAPA has them, Part# FIL 4105" is a good steer for me in that other sources (Cummings, CAT, etc.) are not close to me here in Arlington, VA. Is the "FIL 4105" the smallest quantity one can purchase from NAPA? Or must I purchase a "box" as you mentioned.
And anyone:
Is there a NAPA number for SCA fluid in 16oz?

That NAPA part # is for 4 strips. $27.79!!!! Even if they give you 30 % off it is still too much. About $1.50 or less at Kenworth and you can buy one strip. If you use 2 of the 4 strips the rest will be outdated before you can use them.
