I have a 2002 Endeavor 330 ISC. I am in the process of getting a ScanGauge. My question on the left of the stearing wheel is the OBD11 plug, do I take the screws out and plug the ScanGauge in there if so, what does the switch on the dash do or do I need to worry about it. I just purchased this DP in 12/07 so excuse me for being so dume about this subject. The reason for this scan gauge is my SpeedO broke haveing problem getting fixed. Thanks to all Roy

Unless I'm misunderstanding what you have and what the gauge does, I think you unscrew the cap on the OBD2 connector and plug in.

I don't believe a ScanGauge will connect/read info with the plug your refering to. Post back as to what you find out.

Roy I have the same engine, only in an 01 Diplomat. That plug you found is not an OBD11 plug. True that plug does have data available, but not for a ScanGauge. You can purchase a VMSpc device and cable that will connect to that plug. The plug will be either a 6 or 9 pin and you need to order the correct plug from the folks at Silverleaf. Check out their web site http://www.silverleafelectronics.com/?q=forum/23

There you may also download FREE their VMSpc software for use on your computer. The VMSpc unit connects to the serial port of a computer, but can also be connected via USB with the appropriate drivers.

With this device and software, you can view all the engine data, and some transmission data. The software is easy to use and is much more accurate that the instrument panel in your coach.

I had a Silverleaf unit on my '99 Discovery and loved it. Because the Diplomat came with the Aladdin Jr. system, I foolishly let the silverleaf go in the trade. That was a mistake.
