Winterizing today, and when I pushed down the lever on my Sealand Stool to empty the water in the lines, my valve [piviot open-close] stayed open. It did not open with my foot, which is the normal way, but by putting pressure downward with my fingertips to have gripping power, and then open it. Once open, it STAYS open. Even if I move the lever [foot] up and down.

Any ideas as to my problem. I have been putting petroleum jelly on the o-ring to keep it from hardening as I have done this with all my other MH's [2] and no problems. This is my second Sealand.

Found the culprit that was causing the malfunction of my SeaLand toilet....
It was a little item #385236096. I called the local RV supplier and I can pick it up tomorrow and back home and then be in business. One thing good about it being broke. IT GOT A THROUGH CLEANING. I took it completely apart which I didn't have to, but once I saw how much it needed cleaning in the back, W.T.H.
