Sealand Toilet

Hi guys, has anyone replaced the control board on a Sealand model3110 toilet?
And if you did, where did you get a new board?

You cant buy new boards anymore. Sometimes they come up for sale used in the forum's classified section. I was lucky to get a spare board.

Jake, what is the issue on your Sealand toilet?

Just thinking. There is a guy in TX (James Frerichs) that rebuilds the old 4-button Dometic thermostats as well as the Aqua Hot (Webasto) electronic control boards. Maybe we should ask if he can take a look at the Sealand 3110 control board?

vito, when I set the toggle switch to service, the ball will not open, other than that it works. also, I read in the sealand 3110 instructions that there is a round opening in the side of the toilet where you can manually open the ball to flush if you lose power. This 7/16 slotted nut is set back from the opening, so you can't reach it.

BTW The trouble shooting portion of the manual says that if in service mode and the ball doesn't open to replace the board!!!! I emailed Frerichs.

I put mine into Service mode as I wanted to clean the ball seat. The ball did not open.
Then it wouldn't work at all after putting it back into normal operation. I had to turn off coach 12V power (which reset the board) to get it working again.

Is it possible that the service switch is bad? I have to toggle mine back and forth several times to get it to open.
Cheers,
Walter

The Sealand circuit board takes a beating over time from water and toilet cleaners. An old RV Tech told me to cover the circuit board and switches with a plastic bag and replace the lid.

And all the reasons why I gave away those boards. Since then, gravity was and is, still working. No toilet issues
