We have a 2005 HR Endeavor 4 slide. We need information regarding the left front slide. Recently we noticed the slide was not seeding fully against the right bottom plate when fullly extended. Yesterday, when completing our outside duties, sewer, water, etc I noticed the slide underneath back inside corner bottom plate, wash bulging up and tearing (approx 3in). I am very concerned this has been happening for sometime. I am currently in Yuma AZ for the winter so moving the slide in or out will not have to happen for sometime. I am bracing for the worst. Before contacting anyone I am seeking input from anyone whom might have insight to the problem and how to resolve it. Repair and adjustments may be the answer?? Not sure. Any inputs greatly appreciated before I
call a repair tech...... Many thanks Jack & Mary

You need to check and see if the floor in the slide is rotting. Use something like an ice pick or a metal skewer and poke around the sagging area. If you find soft wood, you have rot and the fix will be a new floor.

Well, like Ken said, you may need a new floor. If so, that is expensive and best done at the factory. The slide will have to come out, be turned on its back on a work area so the bottom can be accessed. The entire bottom would be removed and new wood installed over the metal frame. Read that EXPESSIVE!!! Had a bedroom slide that needed that and cost around $4,200 several years ago. Takes about 12 hours for the glue to cure before the slide can be reinstalled.

If in fact it is a rotted floor, the cause is water leaking inside the slide walls and running down inside to the floor. Mine had a screw head rub through the sealing tape just below the top and at the outside edge. I thought it was the wiper gaskets leaking.
