I try to do all of my pre-trip inspections according to the book – makes sense. But I have a problem inspecting the serpentine belt. I just can’t find a place where I can see it. I don’t mind crawling under the MH, but I still can’t get a good view. Any ideas? The coach is a 2008 Cayman XL PDQ. Thanks.

I would suggest that you buy a new belt and keep it in the coach and I try to change our belt at about 3 yrs, It's also a good idea to make a drawing of how the belt is installed or make sure the drawing in the book is correct.

Walt hit the nail on the head. All I can add is have someone else install it. You can take out the closet floor if you have the right to left floor plan but still a real headache to install.

Use a extendable pencil mirror and a flash light. Cracks are okay but if you see any pieces or chunks of the belt rubber missing, time to replace it.
