I have replased windshield and drove the unit home to find it cracked again
Dealer doesn't want to put another one in unless checked out by service center. Wildwood is closed and I hear funny things about Elkhart and read your blog about service reps that might be able to do this. Is there any closer to the south or is IN the best best. Had my coach 6 weeks and still can't take a trip.

I see by your profile you have a 40’ Endeavor. I have not heard of any problem related to the coach structure causing the windshield to crack, provided you have a two piece windshield. Some of the Monaco branded coaches with one piece windshields did have a BIG problem.

You may already know this, but you need to extend your slides at ride height, then blow air, then level. Do the reverse when ready to move. ALWAYS extend your front jack FIRST, and then the rear jacks if you have jacks. That takes the twisting out of the equation. Doing the opposite will twist the frame and can cause windshield problems.

I have just gotten the coaah and after talking with Dealers and prople who have MOnaco units, I was told to lower tha air bags and level the coach, and then Put slides out. Also to pull slides in and then take it off of the jacks and pump up bags. I cannot get a concensus. After i replaced th windshield that is a one piece, I drove it home and and it was cracked with normal driving and no leveling etc. The dealer who replaced it the first time said he didn't want to replace the windshield without it being checked out by Wildwood, but as you know, Wildwood has closed so I don't know what to do. I've had the unit almost 2 months and still can't take a trip. I really need to get this resolved. Also fixing my Ford Ranger Ext XLT truck with Remco and Mand G brakes for towing and that is no easy task.
