Greetings All,

Your recommendations would be greatly appreciated

Work that needs to be done
1. Carefree 29' awning replaced
2. Troubleshoot and repair "Bouncing Tachometer"
3. Full detail inside and out

Thanks!

Rick

1- Carefree Awning. Please define whats wrong. Like broken spring, wind damage or bad material .
2- Bouncing Tachometer, sometimes caused by a inadequate ground behind tach.
3- Detailing, maybe a carpet and furniture cleaning service.

Sorry ... I was looking for Service/Repair FACILITY recommendations

As in, people to do the work.

To late now as I am in North Dakota

FYI ... Shorewood RV, North of Minneapolis, was very professional ... got my Tachometer to work correctly for about 300 miles ...

Go to Capital RV in Bismark, but they are very busy and you will have to wait afew days to get in.

Thanks for the link ... I looked through that thread before posting.

I am sorry if I am coming across as impatient or pushy. I meant to be neither ... Just ended up in Minneapolis needing service work and thought I might get lucky with a quick recommendation.

We got the Tach fixed and found out our awning would take a couple weeks to order.

So, we are headed home to the great Northwest and will get the work done there.

Thanks for the replies!

If your replacing the topper awning take a look at the 2011 Diplomat full wall slide models, they have finally change the mount style and deleted the center prop and pitched them lower. I guess somebody looked at a old Country Coach. By doing this change the water will not run back to the coach and the slide rubber molding may not rust as fast. I have modified our topper awnings to mount 2" lower away from the coach and have eliminated many leaks.

What lower mounting looks like.
