Short in dash radio

We've got a 2007 Monaco Monarch. I'm usually having to have the rear speakers on because the front speakers have a mind of their own. They come on and off at the strangest times. This past weekend, I put the front power blinds down and the front speakers came on. Later they went out and I couldn't get them on. I started the generator and once again, they came on. Does anyone have any hints on where I should look to fix the mystery speakers?

Sorry, I didn't explain it well enough. This happens while we are driving. The switch for the blinds and the generator are just above the radio. I can't figure out if it is a ground problem or what. The wiring on the Monarch is a mess because they run the dvd through the stereo so there are a lot of wires bundled behind the dash.

I don't know the specifics of the Monarch systems, but if it's like the Dip, the speakers are not directly connected to the radio. They may be connected to a home theater amp that sits in the top "entertainment cabinet" perhaps under a shelf. If your setup is the same, you might look there for a short or loose connection.

Do you have access to check the back of the speakers? I believe, it's a loose connection c/t terminals only. If you can have another speaker (any kind just for testing) try to connect the wire to this test speaker. If it workss, it means, the wire from the speaker magnet to the cone of the speaker is loose. Just solder it. Do same with the other speaker. Remember your problem is just a loose connection, not a big deal.
