Side marker lights quit working

Asking question for a friend. He has an 03 Dynasty and out of the blue he suddenly has no side marker lights. He states fuse is good and does not know where to look further. Will pass any suggestions on to him. Thanks for any help.

There's a couple relays involved with those lights on my 2000.

Do the clearance lights (upper front and back) work? If so, then he has a ground issue. The ground daisy chains from one light to the next.

If not then check the relays and the dash headlight switch.

Thanks Dennis, I just got off the phone with friend and he did find and replace one relay. Will tell him to look for a second one.

Front and back clearance lights do not work either. He has now replaced dash switch and still no work, however, he now states without even having light switch turned on if he hits the switch on the smart wheel to flash the lights for a courtesy pass they all work. Thanks all for suggestions.

FYI I just swapped over all my marker and clearance to LED's and while in the process of swapping out the upper front clearance lights I shorted the wires and blew the fuse.... that said all of my side markers still worked but clearance lights front and rear were on one fuse ....and on my unit the side markers are on a separate fuse that is independant of the clearance lights .... Just saying ....... these coaches Like snowflakes.

Happy Trails
