Signature

Hi Monaco owners. Im in the market for a good used Monaco signature or essex. I have been looking at 2006 and 2007 models sigs and 2007 model essex. I realize on the executives there is a pretty big difference between the two years with the integrated awnings and I'm such. My question is can anybody tell me what the difference between the 2006 and 2007 signature series is? Any major improvements on the 2007 models that should steer me towards them?
Thanks

Here is a link to the Monaco website brochures, you should be able to download and compare

Monaco Brochures

You can also get copies of the manuals which should show changes in any of the main operating systems.

Ya I have found a couple of nice garage kept 06' sig 45's im just torn on to move forward with one of them. I really like the 2007 and newer essex but have had a hard time finding a nice one for a reasonable price. The Sigs seem to be less in demand and more of them around for sale. I know they are a very complex coach and am affraid Buying one at 11 years old, I may be plagued with maintenance issues

I am open to looking at other sigs. Ideally I would like a 42' instead of a 45' but there doesnt seem to be alot of them around.
Thanks

I have an '07 Signature Noble III 45', I can't tell you what the differences are between year models but I can tell you about the '07. There are loads of gadgets & gizmos on it which translates to a higher maintenance cost. I purchased mine in April knowing it needed many minor things repaired. I'm north of $7000 in parts and who knows how many hours of my free labor. The gig list is very small now and we have spent about a month travelling in it.

Wow, what a nice house on wheels it is! At 50,000 lbs. it is a great ride, especially with the air ride seats up front. Living in it is very, very nice. I'm not sure what all Monaco did to justify a sticker price of $650,000 but the end result is a very comfortable coach that is available on the used market at a very reasonable cost.

The coach iv been dealing on is an 06' Commander 1V it has under 30k miles. Gentlemen says it is in flawless condition other than the cruise control is broken, bathroom fan is in opp, and one of the hubs has a small leak. He seems pretty honest about everything. Think I'll call up to premier services today and see if they can give me a ballpark figure on fixing those items .
