Signature vs others, front heat
When we had our smaller single slide Signature, the Aquahot heated the coach instantly.
Our newer 05 Executive with 4 slides struggles honestly when it is cold out.
I know the smaller coach had more heat exchangers in it but more importantly, the dashboard vents blew heat when AH called for heat. Our Executive only has the small single heat exchanger in the center dash that blows heat out at the floor level.
So, can you Signatures in the 2005-2008 range confirm that your dash vents are where your heat comes from while not driving and AH calls for heat?
I suspect this is why there are no cup holders in the center of the dashboards in the Signature line, no room because of the extra heat exchanger size...
Thank you!

I have 3 vents in the galley from one heat exchanger, I think and the dash vents. The AquaHot 600 has two 2000 watt elements as well as diesel. If it is off all night it takes a while to warm up on a cold morning.

As an addition, if your dash vents don't provide heat with AH (ours don't, but we are In a Beaver) turn the dash control to OFF. Otherwise it is a direct path to outside air, and will get colder (or potentially pull in generator exhaust).

In my Executive the only heat at the very front when running aquahot is the center dash floor level heat exchanger/blower.

Our 2005 Signature has heat from the Aquahot that comes out the dash vents as well as the two registers under the passenger side couch.
I suspect there was a register under the fridge that was eliminated when the PT installed the Samsung RF18.

My 40 Executive has AH heat vent lower center dash, couch base board and kitchen counter base board, 3 total for front of coach. We set stat at 70 degrees and it heats space quickly.

Thanks all, I was pretty sure this was the case. There is a long back story on this I won't go into but thank you for confirming.
Also, I understand there is a different heat exchanger that Monaco used than what AquaHot supplies. Also, Monaco's unit is much noisier, is this true? Can I buy and just install the correct quiet unit?
The fan in the dressing area and bathroom pester me the most since they are on tile, right next to the bedroom... For whatever reason, I hate hearing heaters run.
Thanks for the help!

If you go to Roger Berke's site I believe he sells replacement fans which are quieter that the original fans.
We have the same coach as Hypoxia and would like to comment but our heat in the front using the Aqua Hot isn't working. It is working as expected in the bedroom and bath. I need to track down the issue with the front heat exchangers. That zone is getting power at the control board but the fans wont come on the heat exchangers. Side note, the wooden register covers while they look very nice don't let much heat pass. Most of the heat in the bedroom winds up heating the clothes in the dresser. Rant over. LOL

Navigator heats the front with the dash vents IF the fan is turned up
I had a register under the couch go bad. I replaced it with the AquaHot Cozy III
It's quieter than the originals

Thanks again for the information.
I believe the floor registers if from Vehicle Systems would have been this: Part Number EXE-103-0EX
Cozy III Heat Exchanger
And the dash heat (like the Signatures apparently have) as well as floor heat on some models (models with the small round air outlets and 3 speed fans) would be this: Part number EXX-D16-200
https://www.parts.rvhydronicheaterre...XX-D16-200.htm
Both types and spec's here: http://www.aquahot.com/files/product...Sell-Sheet.pdf
So this answers more of my questions!
Obviously the Executive with the floor register under the dash is putting out 8200 BTU's with the little computer type fans on them.
This is out performed by what the Signature has in the dash which is putting out 38,000 BTU's (on high) and has two squirrel cage blowers to move all that air.
I am using Cozy heat numbers so it might be slightly different but I am sure it would be very close.
Now wondering, hum, how can I get that 38,000 BTU unit in my coach!
The wish list continues!
Thanks again all, great information for those of us who use the coaches in the cold!
Also, who is Roger Berke?

Also, who is Roger Berke?
Google him. He is an Aqua Hot repairman that runs a forum on Aqua Hots

Our Signature does heat the living room/kitchen area better than our Executive (which had a larger AHE system).
The large register in the bottom center of the Signature dash console blows heat and it also comes out of the A/C vents. There is another register under the passenger side couch and one in the kitchen. Additionally we have small 110v heaters in the kitchen and bath area.
Mike (zmotorsports) has a 2003 Dynasty that he has changed the bedroom Aqua Hot fans. He says they are the same fans that Foretravel uses and they are quieter than the Monaco fans.

Also, I've noticed with this smaller AHE-100 system it is important to turn on the diesel burner and let it cycle completely (about 20 min) before setting the Duo-Therm thermostats to Furnace mode.
If you immediately turn the thermostats to Furnace without letting it first heat the boiler, it cannot catch up on a cold day.

Do your heat exchanger fans start up when the boiler fluid is still cold?
I've read of this on other forums. Mine won't start up until the boiler reaches a certain temp.
