Slide gasket

My rear bedroom slide gasket is not flipping when I open the slide. I cleaned it and used some silicone spray to no avail. What is the best way to get it to work properly?

You guys have saved my rear over and over and I do appreciate the help. Hopefully I will someday have the knowledge to pass on to some newer than me RV'er

David, go to a boat supply store such as West Marine and get some anti-slip tape. Comes in three grits and I use the medium. Feels sort of like sandpaper but isn't. Made by 3M. Open the slide and put on the sides about 6" from the coach. Could also put it on an angle and it may work better. It comes in White, Black and Clear. May have to be ordered.

Thanks, I remember reading that now, but could not recall the fix. I appreciate your help!
