Just sat through Thunder Storm here in Iowa and now my front curb side slide is dripping water on my computer desk. The drip was coming from the florescent light in the front of the slide but it was because of a soaked ceiling. Because of earlier damage to the slide topper it is not installed right now. After the rain quit I got up on the ladder to see if I could see the problem. It turns out the top wiper seal is not even touching the top of the slide out.

The seal is correctly attached to the coach so I don't understand why it is not reaching the top of the slide. This is a flat floor slide and seem to be adjusted correctly. Does anyone have any suggestion on fixing the problem. I will take some picture tomorrow to get a better idea of the issue.

How close is the gasket from the top of the slide? You may be able to adjust the slide to get the gasket to touch, but that outer seal isn't the only seal, there is another one inside. I'd feel that gasket, and see if it's wet along the top anywhere. You may have a leak above the slide that's leaking through, how is the roof near the slide?

Dave,
Good catch. I've not thought about the seal on top at all. Knock on wood I have not had a leak. I did add some foam tape to the inside seal which had a huge gap in the middle of the slide. Found it when we were in Utah (Waheap CG) just outside of Page AZ. Huge wind storm and the wind lifted the seals and make a horrible sound. Had to pull the slides in. I don't think adjustment would have been able to cure the gap in the middle of the inside seal.
