Slide out Roller

One of the rollers that move over the tile in the kitchen area has started to disintegrate. The orange plastic tube that covers the steel roller is coming apart slowly. Every time I move the slide out and in a little piece breaks off one end. sooner or later the steel will be on the tile. It appears that there is a vertical bolt on either end that attaches the roller to the slide frame. Anyone ever replaced a roller? I don't want to screw up the slide alignment so I want to make sure those bolts are the only thing holding it in place. The RV maintenance place wants to know who manufactured the slide mechanism to order a roller but I have no way to find out. Is the slide marked somewhere with the information? Any advise would be appreciated.

If you call Monaco technical help at 877-466-6226 they should be able to tell you who supplied the rollers. They typically have a drawing that they can email to you that would help identify the part. Mine were made by Cass-Hudson but are not the orange color.

The above was a response that I gave to user: OspreyHD in a thread he started on 9-20-2012 titled: Slide rollers? Hopefully Monaco will be able to help you, or alternatively you may want to contact OspreyHD. It sounds like your having the exact same issue he was.
