Slide Out Weather Stripping

Re: Sealing/Weather Stripping Slides on 2006 Camelot PAQ.

I have not yet experienced wet weather since purchasing our "4-Slide" Camelot. Want to take preventive action.
However,--------- viewing the tolerances, i.e. how well the slide seals to the body when the slide is in, I wonder whether all of the perimeters of the slide will be water tight.
It appears as though the bulb-type weather strip mounted to the slide "touches" the body, but does not compress uniformly top>bottom. I notice that when the slide is open, there is a small secondary/flat strip glued to the body. This supposedly makes contact with the slide-mounted bulb strip when closed.
However, some of this "flat" body-mounted strip is loose, and/or missing.

Does anyone know:
Was this "flat" body-mounted weather strip OEM provided?
If so, has anyone experienced/replaced this same condition?
Has someone run across a better, body-mounted strip (possibly small bulb-type)?
Where might such be purchased?
Thanks for sharing your experience
Rudy
