Slide Problems

The plywood bottom of my bedroom slide in my 2008 Monaco Dynasty is showing signs of damage from the roller. If I raise the bottom rubber seal I can see that the roller on one side has a rubber cover and the roller on the other side does not. The side without rubber is the one causing damage to plywood on underside of slide. Has anyone had a similar problem and can it be replaced without removing the slide.

My Endeavor doesn't have rubber covers on the rollers so I can't help directly, but there have been quite a few discussions on here about adding an aluminum or stainless plate on the slide underside where the rollers contact the slide-bottom. Might help you there.

I had thin pieces of stainless steel installed to correct this. The shop I used said it was routine and common repair. Doesn't even show. Didn't cost a lot either.
