We have a 2001 Holiday Endeavor 40 foot motor home that has the living room slide lower in back then it is in the front and has some evidence of dragging on the small metal trim work under it on the outside of the motor home. It also has a hard problem pulling the slide in when it first starts up. The slide motor is brand new as the last one had a shorted armature. The rear of the floor is also lower on the inside of the motor home when the slid is all the way in.

Any suggestions on what might be wrong, is there an adjustment on the slide to raise it back up?

Bob

Could be a broken roller.

Well don't know if yours is like mine or not even though mine is a 2001 Diplomat and first cousin to your Endeavor.

I have 3 rollers under the slide, and mine is a kitchen/couch slide. Of these 2 rollers move with the slide. One is under the cook-top end of the cabinet, one under the cabinet next to the couch and the third which does not move is under the front part of the slide and under the couch. The 2 that move with the slide are accessed through the cabinets and have a plastic cover over them. They are adjustable and perhaps the rear one is either broken or way out of adjustment.

To adjust, move the slide out about half way, adjust the bolts on each end of the roller till the roller is off the floor, then move the bolts the opposite direction till the roller is just toughing the floor, then turn the bolt one and a half turns more.
