Slide Topper Adjustments?

The slide toppers on our 2012 Endeavor are pretty droopy - the fabric appears to still be serviceable (no holes, no tears, no separation anywhere the topper fabric makes a connection to the toppers' support structure). However, the toppers definitely sag!

The awnings appear to be from the Carefree Eclipse product line. The slide toppers appear to be from the Carefree Ascent product line. Does anybody have experience with these? Is there an adjustment I can make or perhaps a procedure I can use to put a little tension back in the slide toppers?

You can rotate the arm a couple turns to tighten up the spring. Two person job on ladders.

It sounds like the springs have lost a little tension over the years. You can just add a couple of turns to get the desired tension. I don't know how to do it on those model awnings. I would call Carefree for the correct info!

Yeah, I need to do that too... just need to identify which ones I have - must call carefree to find out what are BK156ARJV(PS front) and BK090ARJV(PS rear) and BE324ARJV24 (full wall slide)?

and one of mine also has an outside edge that somehow folded under ...

maybe from being loose and the wind billowing it when I was coming in ????
