My '06 Endeavor holds quite a bit of water on the slide out toppers (both from rain and A/C runoff). I have seen and talked to many people that have this same problem. Seems as though there would be better fixes than the suggestion from HR tech to put an inflated beach ball or something up there. Not very easy to do on a tall coach either.

Has anyone found a third party product or other solution to this issue?

PS. New to the forum and finding it very helpful.

yep, I have the same problem on our Ambassador. I am rigging up something I have seen others do in our RV park with other slide toppers.
They use 1/2 inch pvc pipe and cut it the length of the slide with legs across the bottom and slide them uder the topper. It seems to cure the problems they have. Just dont forget them when you bring them in, Hope this helps.

Hi brrving -

Welcome to irv2 We're really glad to have you here as a new member and are looking forward to reading your posts about your RVing experiences and adventures. You'll find a great bunch of folks on this site who are very knowledgeable of RVing, the rigs we use, and the places we go in them. Enjoy the forums and post often, and when you (or anyone else) want to be a official member of the forum, and not just a new member of irv2, let me know.

I used to have an in-ground pool, and used the same type of ball/pillow to keep the cover from slowly getting covered with water and sinking. Not very elegant, but it worked. Certainly easier to install than on a 12ft+ rv, however. Sounds like 'crudeman' may have a solution.

Thanks!
Ron

Steve, would love to see pics of this and more details. My main slide is the full length of the living room and kitchen. Unless it's built in a few sections, I don't see how I could store a support that was long enough to do the job.
