Slide won’t retract
Getting ready to leave the campground and nothing when I push the slide button. Checked the couple of safety switches and they seem good. Checking for voltage in a few minutes. I was checking the hydraulic pump just now and the reservoir sounds empty. What type of fluid do I need? Is there a way to close the slide manually?

On many MH's the slideouts are interlocked with the storage bay doors, so if a bay door is open or the switch is out of adjustment then you won't be able to move the slideouts.

Which slide?
Are your slides electric or hydraulic? You mention
low fluid but are you sure this is for the slide.
Is your key turned on? Some coaches will not allow slide
operation with the key on.

I had the same thing happen and it was a sticky 80 amp continuous duty solenoid, try switching your salesman switch on and off a few times, also your ignition switch, that may unstick solenoid.

Problem solved. A couple of screws on my cargo bay doors broke causing the piano hinge to pull away from the body just enough for the switch to not close properly!

Amazing how the simple things like a couple of loose screws can cause so much trouble. Good catch.

when checking fluid levels be sure you follow the instructions. I have four HWH slides, some have to be in and some out. Plus one set of written instructions was wrong. After I cleaned up the overflow I found the correct info.
