I am traveling with my niece who has a Monaco Traveler (bed come out of the ceiling) and her kitchen slideout will not go out. One motor operates and then it binds, one motor is not operating. It is approx. at 2002-3 model. Monaco customer service suggests checking the slideout relays. Can anyone tell me how to do this? We are in Mesa, AZ for a week and would like to get it repaired here, but the dealers are booked up for two weeks. Thank you.

My guess is that it is a 2003 Holiday Rambler Traveler 30' PBS. Looks to be much like the Safari Trek, and appears that HR made them under the Traveler name for just that one year. Found some info here - HR Product Archive Page

Unfortunately, that is as far as my smarts go My friends have a Trek that is parked a couple of sites over, but they have no slide. On my rig, all of the relays and such are in the front, driver side compartment. However, on a front gas, I am sure there is no front compartment there. Other than the main electrical panel, there must be some other location for relays and solenoids and other fun things like that.

Would have been nice if tech support gave you even a general location to look If you can't find someone here, I would suggest trying the rv.net Class A forum. Somewhere there may know something about these.

Good luck -

I don't have knowledge of the slide operations and you say the Mesa area dealers are booked up, however, I can recommend Robert Crist RV & Company, if you can get in on their schedule. We had very good experiences with them last year. Good luck.
