We had the same problem. Our Lippert Hydraulic pump failed. Many others have had the same problem with Lippert pumps of this vintage. We had to disconnect all hose to pump and push slides in manually with the help of others. This will cause fluid to leak from hoses. We blocked the slides closed inside the coach with 2x4's until we could get to our dealer. Lippert will tell you they will not warranty this item and to contact Monaco who will deny responsibility due to bankruptcy. Keep after Lippert as they know pumps of this era were defective. There is an implied warranty of fitnessw for use. Several people have contacted the office of safetty defects of the National Highway Safety Department relative to this problem. Lippert will charge about $1200 to replace their defective pump. Those who stay on them eventually get them to reimburse costs though many end up getting the short end of the stick.

Do you guys have hydraulic or air leveling on your Camelots? The hydraulic leveling uses the same pump with a different manifold for the leveling jacks and the slide rams. I ask because I have a new 2009 Camelot and I need to know if I should start worrying. We have air leveling however and the hydraulic pump only supplies pressure to move the two front slides so it would seem that it doesn't have to work as hard as the pumps that level the coach as well as move the slides. Our pump is located in the front of the coach on the drivers side - you can access through the generator door. Is that where your pumps are located?

Sorry to report our unit is the same as yours (air leveling). Best of luck. Hopefully your Lippert Pump is from a different batch.

On my new coach ,during the Dealer inspection ,with the Lippert pump I found that it was low on fluid. Fill per your owners manual.
Search this site for "Lippert pump seal leak"
No leaks so far (about 50 deployments so far)
