Thanks to all for the help. After PCarrell described the circut board with the two fuses, I went on a search. Found it located in the rear bay P/S. Checked and found that the 25 amp fuse was blown. Funny looking fuse longer than a regular automotive type fuse. Put in an automotive 25 amp fuse until I can find one of these type, all works well.

THANKS AGAIN

Glad you got it fixed. You can get one of those long looking fuses at NAPA.

Thanks for all your help. Do you know what the difference is between the long fuse used and a regular automotive fuse? Either way I will go to NAPA today and pick up a few.

Just got a PDF file, troubleshooting sheet back from Power Gear. The folks that make the slide. Sent Power Gear an email yesterday (Labor Day),had a response first thing this morning. If anyone needs a copy send me your email address and I will send it to you. Or if anyone knows how to attach it to here let me know. I tried to drag and drop and also to copy and paste. Neither worked.

slide inop

I had the same problem but when I slammed the basemant door the slides worked. I found out the basement doors have switches which serve as an electrical lock for the slide control switches. If one of these don't work they will all be locked out as they are daisy chained to each other. Adjust the mount brackets to make sure the switches compress and work. There is also a 5 amp fuse in the curbside rear compartment which if blown will disable the slides. I had to pull out the slide switch panel and jump the switches with another hot wire to get my slides in. The reason for all of this is so you can't close your slide while the basement doors are open and maybe crushing them. I learned a lot!
