The shower in our 2009 Camelot has started draining very slowly. I tried a plunger and got poor results. Is a drain cleaner safe or is there a way to reach the trap. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Buy a Cool Tools: Zip-It Drain Cleaner
It is easy and convenient to use, as the most common clog is hair in the trap.

Turbo Snake.. Wall Mart has it on the "As Seen On TV" shelf if I"m not mistaken, Big Lots has it too.. This is a fairly thin wire with a brush end.

Try lifting the strainer off the drain and see if there is a hair clog underneath the strainer. Happened on our Ambassador that way. Don't hurt to check. Happy Trails Bert

yep, most of the time it's right under the top strainer. Lift it up, grab the hair with your fingers and you're back in business.

Try a flexible spring claw to remove hair in drain.
