Hi all, new to site.
Was looking for information on the bedroom slide on a 2002, 40' windsor . It has been getting slower this last 12 months and was wondering if it is an indication that i should replace it or could there be something like seal that would slow it. Any one had this happen?
Thanks
Mike

I was having a problem with my slide motor slowing down, so I took the motor off and apart and found only one of the two brushes had been released against the commutator---after releasing the brush and reassembling it ran great and the slide was back to normal. hope this helps

A couple of other things to check would be the alignment of the slide to make sure it's not dragging and also check to see if there's a brake on the end of the motor and that it's releasing when the motor is running. I had one with a broken wire on so it wouldn't release the brake. Good Luck , Lars

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but don't the slide motors work off the 12 volt system? If the batteries are loosing their oomph wouldn't that affect the speed of the slide? Of course if just one slide is affected probably not the problem but thought I would at least bring it up.
