One more idea; Use a small inverter w/tx switch, mount it close to your batteries. In your refrig compartment, see if you have two, duplex outlets (regular 120v outlets). If you do, one is for the icemaker on the existing absorption fridge and usually is hooked up to the existing whole house inverter. The other receptacle is for the fridge and is not hooked up to the inverter. If your friend's MH did not come with an inverter, well then this is the outlet you want to power from your new inverter. Find the fridge circuit breaker, pull the romex out from under the screw on the breaker and wire this end to your new inverter.
