Snap Disc location

I have an 06 Monarch SE and the basement heater has stopped working tested evervthing and have power to the heater, all fuses good but the power wire coming from the snap disc has no power (it's 34 outside right now) Where did Monaco put the snap disc? This is the only thing I think it can be now.

It should be in your service bay where your heater is located most likely attached to a panel somewhere.

Photo of mine attached.

The 12v heater has a thermal fuse in it but the heater itself is controlled by a thermal snap disc located near or outside the water compartment. It is set somewhere in the high 30's (temp) when it gets below that temp it close's the circuit sending power to the circuit board on the heater turning it on - I just can't find the thermal snap disc to test it

Fireguy315, We had a 06 Monarch that was made in OR. and the snap disc was by the batteries on the curb side. The factory said it was under the white panel in the wet bay but I heard that was only on models built in Elkhart IN. Good luck, we went through two of the heaters and I gave up.

Thanks Drifter, Mine was built in Oregon as well (I'm from Oregon) I did find it, it is in the wet bay high in the left hand corner with the sensor through the compartment to the outside, crossed the wire and the heater came on so i'll have to stand on my head and try to get it out to replace it. Thanks

Glad to hear that, the heater is such a low quality I would never trust it.

Think I'll buy a replacement heater and just have it ready when this one goes, maybe an extra snap disc as well

We bought a 200 watt small box heater from Walmart that works great but it is 110 volt.

I'd like to find a small one with thermostat. I bought a cube with thermostat but it's really too big.
