SacsTC came across this possible hazard when he was servicing the Onan Generator in our Diplomat this week.

The photo below shows where the conduit that is carrying the power lines from the generator to the transfer switch has crimped and broken. This conduit is behind our Onan 8KW generator. ANYONE who has a generator that pulls in and out SHOULD LOOK for this problem. It could cost you a lot of moola if the metal conduit should cut through the wires!

...Not to mention the potential FIRE hazard and ELECTROCUTION hazard those charged wires could cause.
Thanks for the advisory!

BP..that same set of hands has put another set of shocks on a couple of weeks ago. We are awaiting delivery of what everyone hopes will be the final set of shocks anytime now.

The ride gets better with each set... I am going for a ride next week to see how this set handles... and then again after he puts on the next set.

Looks more like one of those hunting shows where the close-up pic is of a bear paw!

Oh, thanks for that tip Sacs. I will have a look asap!

Bama...that "paw" looks like a koala hand compared to Diplomat Don's!

I will make sure I share with you how SacsTC fixed the problem later...
