Ours gets signals but very weak ones. Don't know which antenna on top its tied to or if in fact it is at all but the reception of the signal is not very good.

Ours does the same thing. Lots of static and only a couple of stations actually stop the station search. According to the book the antenna is on the roof just above it. When I get some time I'll check it out. With all the noise created by the inverter/converter I don't hold much hope of it actually getting an A/M signal but F/M should work.
