Squeaky Slide, Can I Adjust?

We have an 03 Monaco Windsor 40PST. Over the past couple of long trips the kitchen slide has begun to squeak. It has accidentally been rolled up onto my wife’s cushioned kitchen mat a time or two...not sure if that is related. I am wondering if there is a way to adjust the slide roller that rolls on the floor to eliminate the squeak. Has anyone been able to do this?

Unless it is visibly out of alignment I don't think you would want to be making any adjustments to the slide. If it were mine, I would run the slide out and visibly inspect the bottom for any damage or signs of rubbing . Next I would place a 2x4 horizontally next to the side of the coach to spread the weight and jack up the slide enough to visibly see under the slide. Clean everything then lube slide rollers with dry silicone spray. You might also want to lube your slide seals.

I would be reluctant to start adjusting the rollers until you find the source of the squeak. Is it coming from the rollers or is the slide rubbing on the coach?

Slides and rollers on this coaches are all different. I have 4 slides and they all have different types of rollers--no 2 are alike.

As mentioned, do a visual check of the rollers from outside. Also, What is the condition of the bottom of the slide on the outside? Many have some degree of rot damage unless preventative maintenance was followed.

Just an idea but; If I pull my slide in "super tight", it squeaks going down the road. If I stop it when it's in and don't hold down the button "too long", it doesn't. It's a sweet spot to stop any air or water leaks yet still not too tight.

Thanks for the input it didn’t squeaked in the beginning because the slide motor brake had been released by previous owner and kept drifting out since we set the brake it comes in and stays and we’ve noticed a squeak and and was wondering if we could put a little pressure on roller to avoid this I can tell it’s the roller cause I can almost reach it going down the road and that’s were noise is coming from. Thanks
