There are two black adjustment screws on the side of the valve. One that will adjust the speed of the step in and the other screw adjusts the speed of the step out. They can be a little hard to see but they are there. Good luck

Ok found the blue mac valve, it is in the front genny compartment, not near the steps at all.

One of the airlines was chopped off and folded over and zip tied,

I guess the prior owner was too lazy to fix it.

So I need to get a length of air tubing and hope it all works.

When it tries to extend can you hear air leaking? Might be the seals on the air cylinder. Monaco wanted over 300 for a new cylinder. Rebuild kit from Adams hydraulic was 12 bucks

I had trouble with my Mac Valve, when I retracted the cover after a trip, it started dumping all the air, I was able to extend the cover and continue home. I took it apart, cleaned and sprayed with silicone and worked fine so far. I bought a replacment from NW RV Supply in Eugene OR for $44.00 and plan to replace the old one before heading south soon. They are available in many places for $40-$50.

1 input port, 2 A B ports with adjustment screws for for A B ports to control the speed of the cover. If not controlled it can slam in or out too hard and break attachments, be carefull when adjusting step cover, 2 person job to start with.
Good luck

Since it won't extend it's likely you will have to remove the cylinder to get to it's back air line connection to replace the cut line. There is a great link on here http://www.irv2.com/forums/f115/mona...er-152878.html about the bolt behind the genny that holds the cylinder. A bit of a job but just takes time. I mark the line at the fitting so you can see how far it is inserted (all the way). You can use a crescent wrench and hold the air line fitting collar down while you pull the line out. Then push the new line in all the way

I found this as a replacement for the cylinder;
SR-0424-DP by BIMBA - Buy or Repair at PLCCenter - PLCCenter.com
Also order a D167 mount of fab your own.
